Marsha Mauger

Marsha is a part of our Veterans Open Studio group and served in the US Army. Marsha often works with collage and mixed media and enjoys bold colors and shapes in her pieces. She is inspired by nature and the flora and fauna of the various places she’s been to through the military and vacations. Marsha says she is often trying to portray joy in her pieces and in turn that helps to elevate her mood. She prefers to work without a plan, and loves the discovery phrase of the art process, when you’re not sure where it’s going but you’re seeing it take shape.
